ISNA is coming to Houston
ISNA conventions have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have memories of attending at ISNA headquarters in Plainfield, and then when it moved to convention centers in random cities in Ohio, to the long stint at Rosemont convention center. Since moving to Houston I haven’t attended much because of the travel, so I’m super excited it’s heading our way this weekend! I’ve already planned out which lectures I’m going to – use my schedule and join me, I’d love to have lecture buddies! Along with the spiritual and social uplift I’m excited to shop the bazaar, it’s one my favorite parts of the convention. If you’re still trying to figure out what to wear to ISNA, check out some ideas below. I have some affiliate links in case you want to order them.

Shopping the Bazaar
As a modest dresser, this is probably what I am most excited about. The modest fashion market has grown so much and I’m excited to see what vendors will be bringing to the bazaar this year. I love the unique designs of small boutiques, I’m hoping to find some good athletic wear and cool tops.
What to Wear to ISNA
I am too old to keep up with the fashionistas at ISNA. Some of these girls have serious fashion game going on. To be very honest, my criteria for my ISNA outfits: covers appropriately, keeps me warm in those freezing lecture rooms, and shoes comfortable enough to walk around the convention center all day. Below are some ideas. All of these items I dug out of the closet, affiliate links below the pictures are for similar items. A dress over pants is always an option too.
Let me know if you’ll be there this weekend, I’d love to meet up!
Floral kimono, lace t-shirt, black skinny jeans, peep toe booties
