Yet another holiday at home. This one I don’t feel THAT bad about, we don’t typically do much for Valentine’s Day. However, my kids did celebrate by means of 30 minute class parties that included activities and treats with classmates. This year I’m going to do my best to have a little party to celebrate my loves, check out my ideas for a quarantine Valentine’s Day with kids.
Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor
I learned my lesson when my kids were very little about having unnecessarily expensive parties for my children. Decor is for me, treats and activities are for them. Items were purchased from Dollar Tree, Target, and a couple of craft stores. I also borrowed from my mom. 🙂 Affiliate links for some easy, inexpensive Valentine’s Day decor is below.
I got my decor inspiration from Arin Solange at Home‘s Valentine’s Day post. This diy xoxo runner is super easy and something the kids can help make, all you need is a roll of paper, black paint, and a paint brush!

Quarantine Valentine’s Day with Kids Activity
Michael’s, Joann, and Target have quite a few inexpensive crafts on sale right now. I ended up buying this XOXO wood block painting set from Target. Unfortunately sold out, but I have affiliate links for lots of kids Valentine’s Day crafts below.

Valentine’s Day Treats From Your Favorite Bakery
Covid continues to devastate small and local businesses. Try to support your local restaurants and bakeries by picking up some Valentine’s Day treats. These sweet treats are from Rustika Cafe in Sugar Land.

What to Wear this Valentine’s Day
I did not buy anything new this Valentine’s Day for myself or the rest of the family for this quarantine Valentine’s Day with kids. Pulled out this pink top I’ve had for ages, check out this post if you want more Valentine’s Day outfit ideas.
