The Easiest Time of Year for Modest Fashion
Winter is the easiest time of year to dress modestly, the weather lends to longer sleeves, pants, and layers. That’s why I wasn’t going to bother with a post about it, I figured everyone knows what they’re doing this time of year. But I spoke with my best friend who in the kindest terms possible made it clear that my past few posts haven’t had the most wearable items. She’s right, so in her honor I present modest winter fashion – the normal, casual, mom kind.
A Sweatshirt with a Twist
Sweatshirts are easy enough to find these days. I am not interested in ironically retro sweatshirts – I do not care to be reminded of my middle school days. I do like the comfort and washability of them though, so I opted for this ruffled one. Pair with any basic pants. See affiliate links for similar items below.

A Cozy Sweater
There’s nothing like a warm, cozy sweater on a cold day. I was getting extra hugs from the kids while wearing this one. The length is great too, covers the hips and behind. Affiliate links for sweater and jeans (on sale!) below, I linked similar shoes as well.

A Warm Flannel
A flannel is a perfect layering piece – warm enough on its own, but light enough to wear under a thin sweater when it’s a bit cooler. Affiliate links for similar sweater, flannel, and boots below. I linked the jeans as well, they’re on sale too!
