I’m a little late to the over the knee boots trend. To be honest, I’m late to every trend. I need to make sure there’s longevity to it before I commit. This time around I committed wholeheartedly and invested in a pair of Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots (affiliate link) thanks to a little input from my cousin and fellow modest fashion blogger Lauleh of A Day in the Lalz. If you’re on the fence about whether to buy a pair, check out these modest OTK boots outfit ideas to see if they’re right for you. For reference, these are the boots in all pics below.

OTK Boots and Cardigan Outfit
In order to wear OTK boots over pants, said pants have to be quite fitted. To balance out the fitted bottom, I opted for a longer, looser cardigan. For more cardigans for the season, check out my blog post here. Affiliate links for the outfit below, exact for sweater, boots, bag, and jeans. Similar for sunglasses and striped t-shirt.

OTK Boots and Teddy Coat Outfit
Another purchase from earlier this season is this teddy coat. Below is a more casual outfit. I paired my over the knee boots with Spanx faux leather leggings (affiliate link) and a simple ruffled dress I’ve had in my closet. Glove clutch is by Perrin Paris, also something I’ve had for a few years. Affiliate links for the outfit below. Links for coat, leggings, and boots are exact, links for dress and clutch are similar.

OTK Boots and Midi Skirt
Do I need boots that go over my knee for a skirt this long? Probably not. However, it’s nice to have the extra coverage and warmth. Affiliate links for exact skirt and boots below, similar turtleneck. Camel coat is super old, but I found a similar one and linked it below.
