It’s been a minute since I’ve bought something from a modest fashion brand or found a new one that I really liked for that matter. I stumbled across modest fashion brand Naayib on Instagram and was thrilled when they reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try out some of their pieces! Items were gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.

Modest Minimalist Dress
One of the pieces I received was this box pleat asymmetric shirt dress. This is a UK size 8 which is the equivalent to US size 4-6. You know how much I love wearing a dress over pants, and the button down style of this allowed me to show off a little peek of my trousers. The dress has a straight, loose fit which doesn’t flatter my body type, so I wore a belt to cinch the waist.
Long Summer Top
Top two was this white tie cuff blouse. I loved it for a couple reasons. One, I’m a sucker for bows and ties, so this little detail at the elbow was perfect. Next, it had appropriate sleeve length, neckline, and top length. I even took a picture turned around so you could see my behind was covered. Lightweight cotton is perfect for our scorching Houston summers. I’m wearing a UK size 10, equivalent to US size 6-8.
Pleated Maxi Skirt
Last piece is this maxi skirt with paperbag waist, which I thought went perfectly with the tie cuff blouse above. The color is perfect to transition from summer to winter. I also thought it was perfect for casual or slightly more professional occasions. Skirt is UK size 10/US size 6-8. A little note on this – I’m pear shaped and the skirt is more of a straight cut, so it was a little tight in the hips. I’d size up if you have also have a pear shape.
