We had a crazy cold from blow through Houston and I was woefully unprepared in the bedding department. I had to layer a throw blanket over my sheets and quilt. Luckily, that wasn’t the case for my clothes. Check out a few of my favorite fall sweaters to get me through the season. Some are new, some are old favorites I have saved from last season. No reason to reinvest if you already have pieces you love!
A Chunky Pullover Sweater
This is a new sweater I got from J. Crew. I actually got it a while ago, but it wasn’t cold enough to wear it at the time. It is now, and I’m so excited to put it into rotation. The issue with waiting this long to share with you though, is that it sold out. Fear not, I have options! Here’s an affiliate link for a navy polka dot sweater in wool, and an affiliate link for the same sweater but in solid colors. Skirt is vintage and bag is so old it could also be considered vintage. Here are affiliate links for similar boots and sunglasses though.

A Colorful Cardigan Sweater
If you’re an active follower of the blog, then you have seen this cardigan (affiliate link) before. I just love this berry colored twist on animal print. It’s the perfect layering piece, I take it with me whenever I know it’ll be a little chilly. Jeans and bag are vintage. Here’s an affiliate link for the sweater again.

A Fine Wool Sweater
We all love those big, fluffy sweaters to keep us warm. But a fine, or merino, wool sweater is a good one to have in the closet too. It’s a good layering piece to go under a thicker sweater or jacket. It’s also a good piece for more professional wardrobes. Just like the others, this one has been in my closet for a while. But I have found similar items for you. Affiliate links for similar sweater, pants, shoes.

So what are your favorite fall sweaters? Do you already have some in your closet, or need more?
