I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Dubai Modest Fashion Week a couple weeks ago. As someone who loves fashion, it was kind of a dream come true to attend runway shows. Layer on top of that the fact that it was modest fashion designed by Muslim women. Dubai Modest Fashion Week opened my eyes to global modest fashion and really inspired me to share it with you.
My Look
So many people asked about this dress. I bought it from a small store here in Dubai a few years ago. I wish I could share more. Earrings are Kendra Scott (affiliate link), clutch is Perrin.

My Favorite Designers
Imen Bousnina
Based in Austria, I am in awe of her vision for modest fashion in Europe as much as the designs themselves. No online store yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as there is.

Anotah
Anotah is a Gulf Region designer based in Kuwait. Lucky for me there is a boutique in Dubai I had a chance to visit. I did a little pre-show window shopping, but stay tuned for my blog post about my favorite looks at the store. The best part, they ship worldwide!

Anara Zakirli
A beautiful fusion of western wear with Azerbaijan artisanship. Azerbaijan was not on my radar for modest fashion brands, but it is now! Her dresses are more on the high end, but would be a great investment piece. Also worldwide shipping! My photos would not do her pieces justice, check them out yourself on her instagram.
Inspiration for the Future
Dubai Modest Fashion Week opened my eyes to an amazing network of modest fashion designers, brands, and creatives who are on a mission to share it with the world. I’m excited to be part of that network and to share modest fashion that is relatable to everyone.
