Every time we go to Dubai there’s always something new. It’s one of the reasons why I like visiting so much. This visit I noticed a lot of art installations throughout the city, and I appreciate there is more to consume than clothes and food. One of the newest spots we visited is Dubai Design District, a destination for all things creative. It just seemed like the perfect place to show the fusion of art and artistry in Dubai.
Collaborating With a Fellow Creative
Among the many opportunities I had in Dubai this trip, one of my favorites was collaborating with fellow creative, photographer Jaber Al Nakash. It also helps that he’s married to my sister in law. Along with being a talented photographer, he’s an inspirational entrepreneur. I have found this nontraditional career path to be challenging, but to see someone like Jaber take his passion and make a career out of it has motivated me to do the same. Part of this post is to give you fashion ideas but the other part of it is to inspire you to go out and do what you love. I hope you find inspiration as you scroll through.

Dubai Design District on the Water
In addition to the shops, restaurants, and offices in the area, there is also a beautiful area along the water. Not only does it make an excellent backdrop for photographs, there are plenty of ways to stay active for kids and adults alike. There is a skate park, basketball hoops, and a playground.
